NIHR PhD Studentship: Understanding pathways of care for people with multiple long-term conditions (MLTC) in NHS hospital care

This PhD offers a unique opportunity to advance understanding of hospital care pathways for people with MLTC. 

It is jointly-funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria (NENC), HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Diagnostic and Technology Evaluation, and Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). The successful candidate will work with all three centres and join a wider PhD cohort with shared training opportunities.

NIHR Principal Investigator Pipeline Programme (PIPP)

This is a 12-18-month programme providing theoretical learning and practical experience for research delivery staff to develop as principal investigators (PIs). It is designed for health and care professionals who want to develop their leadership skills and confidence as PIs.
