Vacancy: Senior Research Associate/Research Associate

Applications are invited for talented and ambitious Research Associates or Senior Research Associates to work within the newly designated NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) covering the North East and North Cumbria and to work across all ARCs as part of our national leadership in Prevention and in Inequalities.

The successful candidates will have a doctorate in a relevant topic and experience proportionate to the level of post applied for in Public Health/Prevention and also in Health and Social Inequalities. Required skills will include: the development of research studies and analysis plans; quantitative and/or qualitative data collection and analysis; the ability to publish work in high quality peer reviewed journals; the confidence to engage with collaborators at all levels of seniority, across different regions and sectors of the health and care system; and a willingness to work with research partners across multiple Universities. Successful applicants will be appointed to a suitable point on the common payscale according to qualifications and experience.
