I-STEM toolkit for stakeholder engagement in implementation

Fuse Associate Dr Sebastian Potthoff and the Innovation and Implementation Research Group at Northumbria University have developed the Implementation STakeholder Engagement Model (I-STEM) toolkit to help bridge the gap between research and practice in health and social care.

Designed for both academic and non-academic users, the I-STEM toolkit supports the planning and delivery of effective stakeholder engagement throughout all stages of implementing innovations - from initial exploration and preparation to full implementation and long-term sustainment.

Grounded in theory and co-developed with practitioners from integrated care systems, the toolkit integrates evidence and tools from implementation science into a practical, user-friendly process.
