Finalists announced for the 2025 Fuse Awards

Fuse is delighted to announce the finalists for the 2025 Fuse Awards, celebrating outstanding contributions to public health research, policy and practice across the North East and North Cumbria.

The Fuse Awards will showcase the exceptional work being carried out by researchers, practitioners, community partners and public contributors across five award categories:

  • Excellence in Public Involvement and Engagement
  • Innovative and Creative Communications
  • Outstanding Translational Research Initiative
  • Rising Star Award
  • Director’s Award

This year’s shortlist highlights the breadth of innovative, collaborative and impactful work taking place across the Fuse network and beyond.

All nominations were reviewed by a judging panel of Fuse public partners, staff members and colleagues from practice and policy. The standard of entries was exceptional and our panel of judges had tough decisions to make in all categories.

Thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations to our fantastic finalists.
