It covers the North East of England and all those doing research around qualitative health are welcome to be involved. The aim of the writing groups is to provide a safe space for PGR and ECR to share their issues, experience and advice in all aspects of academic writing with their peers. The groups cover a range of topics and interests, are organised to suit the needs of the members and are located across the region, from Newcastle to Middlesbrough.
Currently there are five writing groups, please see the details of each and upcoming dates below:
If however you feel that you have an interest that is not catered for then please get in touch (details below) and the group can help you set up your own. It is a straightforward process and you will be supported in doing so.
The wider network seeks to bring together these smaller groups at an event at least once a year where feedback from the groups will help to shape the themes covered and invite well-regarded experts to deliver sessions important to the network members. These events will also give members of the network the opportunity to challenge themselves and present their work in a supportive and encouraging environment. Details of these events will be disseminated soon.
How you can get involved
You can receive updates and sign up to a group by sending an email to QHRWGN@gmail.com.
