Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) Academy Launch
At this event you will find out about the NHIP Academy and its vision. You will hear inspirational speakers talk about the national landscape for research careers and opportunities.
The theme for the day is “Careers Re-imagined” and speakers include:
- Professor Waljit Dhillo, Dean of NIHR Academy
- Anne Maree Keenan OBE, Associate Dean of NIHR Academy
- Lorraine Harper, Associate Dean of NIHR Academy
- Jo Cooper, Head of Research Nursing, NHSE
There will be facilitated breakout sessions focussing on their four pillars in Public Health & Social Care, Medicine & Dentistry, Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Professions, and Research Methodology.
You can participate in Q&As with speakers, partners and pillar leads, as well as talks from individuals on the research career pathway to provide first-hand experience.
There will also be great networking opportunities for all.
You do not have to be in a NHIP "member" organisation to attend, it is relevant to anyone on the health and care career development pathway and anyone in programmes supporting them.
