The EQUAL North: Research and practice network will bring together policy makers, practitioners and academics to support the implementation of four sets of recommendations made by the Due North Report. In doing so, the network aims to increase collaborative research into public health across the North.
This meeting will identify topics of mutual interest across northern public health academics, policy makers and practitioners and explore opportunities to apply for major research grants collaboratively under the aegis of the EQUAL North: Research and practice network.
The event will be of particular interest to commissioners of public health services, members of Health and Wellbeing Boards, Clinical Commissioning Groups, local authority public health teams and researchers with an interest in health equity.
