Postdoctoral Research Associate, Department of Psychology

A 35 month fixed term, full time Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position is available. The successful candidate will join FACE-UP (Factors Affecting Childhood Exposures to Urban Particulates) research project which is led by Prof Claire Horwell in the Department of Earth Sciences and funded by the Medical Research Council as part of its activities under the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) Collective Programme. The aim of this large, interdisciplinary project is to reduce the exposure of urban children to air pollution through the development of culturally-appropriate interventions. This project will develop and assess mechanisms to decrease children's exposure to particulate air pollution (PAP) in urban locations in two DAC- list Asian countries: Indonesia and Nepal.

Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant, Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences
Full time fixed term until 31st March 2024

Durham University are recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate, and a Research Assistant, in Mental Health and Wellbeing, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between physical and mental health. Both roles will work on research led by Dr Emily Oliver, exploring the implementation of health promotion services into care and support pathways for individuals living with severe mental illness. Applications are encouraged from candidates who are typically underrepresented in research roles.
