Society for Social Medicine 2024 - call for abstracts now open

The Society’s next Annual Scientific Meeting is organised by the University of Glasgow, and will take place from Wednesday 4 September until Friday 6 September 2024 at the University of Strathclyde. The event will include a range of stellar keynote speakers, expert panellists, themed parallel sessions, plenaries and workshops. Early Career Researchers can also meet the day before, on Tuesday 3 September.

The conference covers a range of subjects including epidemiology, the medical and health needs of society, health services, and the prevention of disease. It welcomes research that addresses important issues in population health sciences and includes qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods approaches.

Fuse and the NIHR ARC NENC jointly hosted the 67th Society for Social Medicine and Population Health (SSM) Annual Scientific Meeting at Newcastle University in 2023.

The call for abstracts is now live - deadline 26 February 2024.
