Our response to COVID-19
New knowledge hub launched to capture the consequences of COVID-19
Fuse is a proud partner of C-WorKS, an exciting new hub to support the collation and sharing of knowledge and intelligence across the North East and Yorkshire about the impacts of COVID-19, and the response to this, on non-COVID related disease and death.
The work is a collaboration of the Public Health England (PHE) Local Knowledge and Intelligence Service (LKIS), NHS England, North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS), and other partners including Fuse.
C-WorKS aims to:
- bring together people and organisations who hold different knowledge and understanding to enable more effective, equitable and efficient ways of working across the whole region.
- aid the sharing of information, reduce duplication, highlight gaps and maximise the value of non-COVID, system-wide work done in North East England
- empower members to add their own resources, post questions and proactively contact others who are working on similar issues.
How it works:
On the C-WorKS site there is curated information on non-COVID impacts, provided by users on an ongoing basis and in a framework. Users can upload or describe information about work, share contact details, view information, pose questions and start discussions. Further details about this are in the C-WorKS pro forma.
This C-WorKS intro presentation provides a more in depth overview of the site, and you may also wish to use the C-WorKS flyer to introduce others to the concept of C-WorKS.
How to get access:
C-WorKS is hosted via the Public Health England (PHE) run PHINE Network group on the Knowledge Hub platform, registration is required but is an easy process which is covered in both the pro forma and on the ‘how to register’ PDF.
