Double award for the Fuse Podcast
Congratulations to our Fuse podcast group who won not one but TWO awards at the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) awards.
- Winner of the Public Involvement and Engagement Innovation in Practice Award
- Overall winner of the Public Involvement and Engagement Award.
The NIHR SPHR recently launched the inaugural awards to recognise excellence in Public Involvement and Engagement (PI&E); and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). The awards are designed to acknowledge creativity, innovation and brilliance in PI&E and EDI across the School.
The Fuse podcast group, led by Fuse Public Partner Network members in collaboration with researchers and staff, created the podcast, which was adjudged a 'fantastic example of developing innovative and creative PI&E activities'.
The Public Health Research and Me podcast is entirely led by Fuse public partners and aims to bridge the gap between research and public audiences.
The winners were announced and awards presented at this year’s SPHR Annual Scientific Meeting held in Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday 18 May.
The podcast is available on Apple, Google, Spotify and Amazon Music or wherever you get your podcast.
