An opening exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Research Associate to lead the behavioural science input to the newly formed Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) tasked with evaluation of interventions. The post holder will contribute to and lead on a range of projects addressing the design and evaluation of health protection interventions - such as how to communicate with patients and GPs to reduce antibiotic prescribing. The post will require proactive engagement with senior researchers to identify opportunities for behavioural science input and the capacity to provide leadership for initiating, conducting and reporting the work in collaboration with multidisciplinary research teams and service providers.
This post is funded for 2.5 years in the first instance and is expected to start towards the end of June.
