SPHR Public Health Practice Evaluation Scheme - call for applications
A further round of SPHR's Public Health Practice Evaluation Scheme (PHPES), now operated in collaboration with Public Health England, closes on 2 October 2015.
The scheme aims to help the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) to produce high quality evidence needed by public health practice to improve the health of the population and reduce health inequalities. PHPES enables public health practitioners to work with members of SPHR on robust evaluations of innovative local public health projects or initiatives.
What PHPES offers
The scheme offers public health practitioners working in any sector an exciting opportunity to:
- Collaborate with leading population health scientists to evaluation your practice
- Gain a national profile for your work
- Provide evidence on the cost-effectiveness of your work that others can use
- The possibility that your project or initiative will be replicated in other areas
Further details including guidance and an application form are available to download from the SPHR website. Visit sphr.nihr.ac.uk/phpes/ to find out more.
The deadline for applications is midday on 2 October 2015.
