Consultation open on the proposed NHS Health Check research priorities

The paper sets out the key research and evaluation priorities for the programme. The NHS Health Check is for 40-74 year olds and aims to reduce the risk of people developing preventable conditions.

PHE has stated its commitment to bringing greater scientific rigour to the NHS Health Check programme and this consultation is an important step in establishing the key evidence required to ensure an effective programme. The research priorities paper reflects input from stakeholders from across the public health sector, as well PHE's understanding of current knowledge and academic research on NHS Health Checks.

PHE is keen to consult as widely as possible to ensure that they have the views of a broad range of partners and stakeholders. Your experience and expertise will help shape research and evaluation for the NHS Health Check.
