Social Futures Institute Conference 2017: Creating Safe Cultures for Young People
This one day conference will be hosted by Teesside University on 8th September 2017.
The aim of the conference is to bring interested parties together to enhance knowledge and understanding of some of the key issues facing young people today. Building effective community support, increased knowledge, and greater understanding of the issues effecting young people will help create safer cultures and better outcomes for young people. Importantly the health and well-being of young people is at the heart of delivery for schools, local authorities, third sector agencies and improving the safety of young people is identified as a key priority for a multitude of services.
Call for abstracts open now! (closing date 30th June 2017)
We would like to invite submissions to present on current research and practice. Presentations can take one of following forms: Thematic symposium; individual oral presentation; or poster presentation.
