This event is organised as a joint venture between John Snow College and Stephenson College, and takes the form of a lunchtime lecture followed by a buffet, on Tuesday 30th May 2017.
Our Guest Speaker is Kate Welch, who is a social entrepreneur working full time as the Chief Executive of Social Enterprise Acumen CIC whose corporate aim is to achieve the vision of creating enterprising communities in North East England and across the world. Her talk will be followed by a lovely buffet (not just sandwiches!) and the opportunity to chat with Kate and other participants.
The event will take place in F009 in the Wolfson Building and will commence at 11am with Refreshments. Kate will speak for one hour from 11.30am and take questions from the floor, the buffet will then follow. There is no need to book a place – folk can just turn up on the day – but if possible it would be nice to know who is coming and have a sense of numbers for the buffet.
