The topic for this half day seminar will be the impact of gender on health issues. The keynote speaker will be Dr Carol Emslie from the Institute for Applied Health Research / School of Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University, and in addition there will be a number of short presentations from local researchers, plus a panel discussion exploring the difficulties sociologists face when working in multi-disciplinary groups looking at health related topics.
