Health literacy is about people being able to access, understand, check and use information to make informed choices about their health. It also reflects what organisations can do to make this easier.
This event will bring together people from across the North East and North Cumbria who have an interest in health literacy. It provides an opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved across the region so far and to explore priorities and next steps for the future.
