This ‘insider’ status of the peer-researcher

  • Venue: Online
  • Start: Thu, 12 Dec 2024 13:00:00 GMT
  • End: Thu, 12 Dec 2024 14:00:00 GMT

Hosted by Fuse and NIHR ARC NENC, the Community of Practice was launched to bring together anyone in the region with an interest in peer research from a public health or social care perspective, to ‌share resources, identify key ingredients and gaps, and explore how we could address these gaps. Peer research enables practitioners and community members to become actively involved in research to directly affect the outcomes. They add an ‘authentic’ voice to research and foster closer collaborations between academics and those impacted by the research findings.

This meeting is an on-line event and will focus on This ‘insider’ status of the peer-researcher.  Peer-informed exploratory research has played a critical role in providing a conduit for the voices of the Armed Forces bereaved community.
