This Peer Research Community of Practice (CoP) event, organised with the NIHR Public Health Interventions Research Studies Team (PHIRST), will showcase research used in evaluations with local authorities of public health services. Participants will be able to reflect on best practices, barriers and enablers experienced by PHIRST researchers, and learn more about this NIHR innovative programme to help local authorities evaluate their services.
We will also launch the Peer Researcher's Backpack at this event. This handbook has been developed by researchers at Teesside University to support and empower peer researchers to be full partners in research projects.
The CoP is co-hosted by Fuse, the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health, and NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria (NENC).
Programme to follow.
