Introducing the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) Young Person's Advisory Network (YPAN)

Dr Rachel Proctor - Guest speaker presentation at Fuse Public Involvement and Engagement meeting and opportunity for questions

Dr Rachel Proctor is the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) Public Partner Network (PAN) Coordinator at the University of Exeter. She will be joining the Fuse Public Involvement and Engagement Group meeting as a guest speaker, and we would like to welcome you along too! This is a voluntary learning opportunity.

In this session, Rachel will talk about what the NIHR SPHR Young Person's Advisory Network (YPAN) is and why having a YPAN is important in public health research. The session will explore how the YPAN got started, what is meant by the 'hub and spoke' model, and how to get involved either as a researcher, public partner or relevant organisation. Rachel will share some valuable lessons learned along the way and examples of good practice.

There will be a chance for questions, answers and discussion. This will be a brilliant learning opportunity, and we would like you to join us for this part of the meeting.
