What happens when you get in touch with AskFuse?
The AskFuse process is bespoke to you, as each enquiry is unique, but you may find the general outline below of the AskFuse process helpful. There is a flowchart summary of the process and a framework to help clarify your thoughts about your enquiry on the resources page.
We aim to acknowledge receipt of all initial enquiries within 48 hours, and will contact you for an informal follow-up conversation to clarify your research or evaluation needs, timescales and available funding.
Based on these follow-up discussions, we then develop a research brief, which includes information on the background to your enquiry, aims and objectives of your enquiry, and what you need the researchers to provide.
Once you are happy with this research brief, it is circulated to Fuse researchers to see who has the skills and capacity to respond. Researchers are asked to express their interest within 5 days.
AskFuse then facilitates a meeting between you and the research team to clarify the brief, and from this, they then develop a research proposal with clear deliverables and budget (if applicable).
When you agree the proposal with the researchers, and sufficient funding has been secured, the research can begin.
