Research Fellowships (NURF)/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

Fuse, the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health is one of five Centres of Excellence in Public Health Research established by UKCRC in 2008.

Fuse are delighted to be inviting applications for two academic posts at either Senior Lecturer, Lecturer or Research Fellowship (NURF) level, based in the Institute of Health and Society, Newcastle University.

We are looking to appoint future leaders in the field of Public Health with demonstrable research excellence in one or more of the following key areas: Early Life and Adolescence, Complex Systems or Knowledge Exchange and in particular research engagement with Policy and Practice partners.

 You will be an experienced academic/researcher with interests in public health which link, or closely relate to or complement existing research in Fuse: http://www.fuse.ac.uk/research/ and the Institute of Health & Society: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/ihs/research/ .  You will have a proven track record in generating research income from prestigious sources, publishing in high impact peer reviewed journals and be able to demonstrate experience in research leadership. You must be PhD qualified, with the further requirements of the different job types specified in the job descriptions, further details can be found here.
