Competition shortlisting for Fuse projects
Fuse has been recognised in a competition to find those making the best use of digital technology to promote health research.
Two entries by Fuse have been shortlisted in the video and online community categories of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Let's Get Digital competition 2017.
The video is about the NIHR School for Public Health Research 'Foodscape' project. A 'Hole' Lot of Salt focuses on reducing salt added to takeaway food and asks if reducing the number of holes in saltshakers can make a difference. Watch the film here.
Judges said: "The panel thought that this film described the study well and it is creatively shot and edited. This film is an excellent example of making research accessible to the public."
The shortlisting in the online community category is the Fuse Open Science Blog, our forum for sharing experience of public health research. Read the blog here.
Judges said: "This was shortlisted by the panel for being a really good example of an engaging blog. The blog aims to promote the impact of public health research, through engagement and interaction and has demonstrated an impressive reach."
The public vote is now closed and winners will be announced in due course.
